Quinn, a petulant and snarky woman born into a nefarious line of ancient beasts, is the pariah of her family. She lives a secluded life in the country-side, living a mendacious life as a waitress in a run-down diner. However, all of that is ruined when she stumbles upon some trouble concerning a man who seems to be more than just his benevolent facade. Now on the run, Quinn struggles to keep her secrets in check-especially when her mothers own tragic puzzles begin to click into place. Maybe she isn't an outcast after all.
