Eliot once had a life-a wife he loved, a world he understood, a future that stretched out before him. Then the giants came. Towering thirty feet tall, they shattered cities, crushed nations, and turned what remained of humanity into trinkets, pets, or prey.
Now, Eliot lives in a terrarium, his name stripped away and replaced with "Sunny," a mockery of the man he used to be. He is owned by Bram, a young giant whose rough, careless affection blurs the line between kindness and cruelty. To Bram, Eliot is a comfort object-something simple and silent in a life otherwise filled with confusion, arguments, and guilt.
Day after day, Eliot is handled like a toy, petted, pocketed, and forgotten. Trapped in a home too massive for him to navigate, he becomes a silent witness to Bram's life
