Just a kiss. That's what it took for Irina to ruin her life, betray her legacy and endanger her mother.
One should be careful of whom they kiss because if it turns out to be a revenge seeking vampire then there are going to be consequences.
Irina's scent still lingers on my tux, the sound of her melodious heartbeat pulsating on her neck that I could taste on my tongue is making me want to lose all the control that I've maintained for hundreds of years.
I want her in every way possible.
What makes things worse for her is my history with her blood, the blood I've sworn to spill.
She's the last of her lineage and I intend to make sure she dies.
Resisting her fiery amber eyes, intoxicating smile and craveworthy blood which is tied with centuries of animosity; I will have to end her life as well as the last bit of humanity left in me.
After all, revenge in my bloodstream runs deeper than the idea of being in love with a human whose life is as fragile as a rose. A rose that blooms like hope amidst thorns and against all the odds.
