".𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰."

__________

"POTTER!!" Malfoy jumped between the oncoming slaughter of creatures, giants- elves- it was an undecipherable horde of brethren. The hawthorn wand that once belonged to the blonde skittered across in the air, ending up in the hand of Harry once again.

___________

"YOU TRAITOR-" Bellatrix's voice ringed among the crowd, the familiar green curse slippering from the end of her wand, hitting Draco in the square of his chest.

The seconds ticked, and everyone around watched with bated breath how a scream ripped through Harry's chest, his body limping in the middle of the chaos, his knees finally giving up, his corpse bursting into a stroke of bright light, a burning hot glow that reduced everything in it's wake to mere ash.

In the middle of the explosion laid a single body, the savior of the magical world was dead, not by a curse to the head, not by possessions or basilisks, not by hunger or by losing his magic, his soul splintered, searching for its counterpart, screaming in the eternal flames of nothingness.

Draco Malfoy and Aurora Everglen, two dangerously different people in comparison were bound to not get along. Draco Malfoy tries to the best of his abilities to conceal whatever growing feelings he feels for the girl. He doesn't know why exactly he has developed feelings for the polar opposite of him. A boy like him who's only ever learned to conceal never knows how to handle these emotions. Pushing these feelings away is the only reasonable remedy in a circumstance like this in his book. There was no way he was falling for her. He'd have to catch himself before he fell. How he conceals them, you ask? Knowing the notorious Draco, you may guess already. He feigns hate towards her. With any chance he gets, he tries to make her feel bad, as if it was her fault that he had fallen for her. He tries to keep up with this façade, trying to make himself believe the hatred he supposedly holds for her. Aurora never seemed to like Draco either. She was content with the people surrounding her, she didn't need him invading her space just to make fun of her all the time. He has made her feel a lot of things, and attraction to him was most definitely not one of them. She remains oblivious as to why he 'hates' her so much, but she knew she hated him too. Again, both of them are the opposite of each other, while one clings to her temperate demeanour, the other reserves a cold. But what will happen when both of them discover they indeed do have a lot more in common then they believe? The clock's relentless ticking and the looming war pit them on opposing sides, their divided loyalties make an already impossible situation even more fraught. He's a regrettably barbarous, pureblood, Slytherin heir; 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, unavailable, and that's the way he'd prefer it to remain. Draco Malfoy has much more important, particularly insidious business to attend to, rather than waste time worrying about altering the course of an already pre-determined marriage. No sense in lingering on an emotional connection with any witch deemed fit for the deplorable role, when one has a serpent's fangs buried deep in their skin, releasing venom at an alarming rate... Unfortunately for him (and for her), Madeleine Desrosiers cannot be reasoned with, and she has her golden eyes locked squarely on one wizard only. This hazardous enchantress is a terrifically stubborn French Beauxbatons transfer student with little knowledge about Hogwarts, a terribly inconvenient Parisian dialect, and a knack for touching things that definitely do 𝗻𝗼𝘁 belong to her. Finding herself drawn to him despite his inhospitable charm, Madeleine shall ultimately become the grand architect of her own personal prison. Sudden and involuntary bequeathment to the Malfoy family shield was definitely not the game plan. She is inevitably drawn deeper into a world darker than she'd ever imagined, and in order to navigate the shadows of her new apocalyptic life, she must discover the gift of 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲. ☙ Book Two: Obliviation ❧ ☙ Book Three: Aftermath ❧ ☙ Book Four: Supremacy ❧

In the enchanted halls of Hogwarts, Astra Prince and Draco Malfoy exist on opposite ends of a volatile spectrum. Astra, a fiercely independent young witch shrouded in mystery, harbors a secret so dangerous it could upend everything. Draco, trapped under the crushing weight of his family's dark legacy, battles his own inner demons, determined to prove himself in a world that demands unwavering loyalty. Bound only by mutual friends and a simmering dislike, their paths cross in moments of fiery confrontation and reluctant alliance. Astra's sharp tongue and unyielding spirit challenge Draco's arrogance and carefully maintained facade, sparking battles of wit that crackle with tension. Yet beneath their shared disdain lies a magnetic pull neither can deny-a connection that threatens to unravel the very foundations of who they are. As secrets begin to unravel and the war against Voldemort looms ever closer, the walls they've built around themselves start to crumble. Draco is drawn to Astra's defiance of the darkness he's come to know, while Astra sees glimpses of the boy behind the mask-a boy desperate for redemption. Their fiery encounters evolve into something far more dangerous. In a world where trust is a rare commodity and choices carry life-altering consequences, Astra and Draco must decide if love is worth the risk, even if it means defying the very forces that seek to tear them apart. ----- A/N - I hope you enjoy reading this book, just as much as I enjoyed writing it!
