Welp, Matthew Ekkleson received a job offer from a slightly shady genetics company. What could possibly go wrong if he accepts it? As it turns out, a lot of things can and will go wrong. Maybe some things at Aneheim Industrial Genetics co. are better off hidden from the public.

In the 2020s, many biotechnology companies existed all over the world and were helping to advance mechanical augmentations, making them commonplace in society but was still controversial. One such company, Sarif Industries, which had been founded in 2007 and had quickly grown to become one of the major biotech companies by 2027. By 2027, Multinational biotech corporations specializing in human enhancement are competing for dominance in what has become a controversial field. Many engage in wars against each other, employing thieves, moles, and hackers to steal their competitor's ideas. To protect it's research, Sarif Industries has recently developed it's own internal security force. Enter Adam Jensen, the newly appointed head of Security of Sarif. (Story edited so it would work as my school project story.)
