Kiko, a UP film graduate student gifted - or cursed - with synesthesia: he sees faint colors around people, subtle glows that reveal the emotions they hide. Tasked with creating a documentary about Manila's underground music scene, Kiko stumbles into the orbit of Reggie, a colorblind Atenean musician who plays like he's chasing a world he can't see.
Through Reggie, Kiko is introduced to Kitchie, a scrappy, passionate band fighting to be heard in a city that's always too loud. As Kiko films their journey - the late-night gigs, the secret heartbreaks, the dreams too big for small bars - he finds himself drawn to the colors Reggie doesn't know he carries.
But the deeper Kiko dives into their world, the harder it becomes to stay behind the camera. After all, some emotions are too vivid to just record - they demand to be lived.
