This is your Emergency Broadcast System. Announcing the commencement of the Annual Purge sanctioned by the U.S. Government.

Weapons of class four and lower have been authorized for use during the Purge. All other weapons are restricted.

Government Officials of ranking 10 have been granted immunity from the Purge and shall not be harmed

Commencing at the siren, any and all crime, including murder, will be legal for 12 continuous hours.

Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical services will be unavailable until tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. When the purge concludes.

The Annual Purge was back. And people were angrier and more violent than before, angry that they were stripped of their right to Purge for four years

Four years of peace. Four years of no anxiety. Four years of no hiding in closets, hoping and praying she'd make it through this awful night

Juniper Campbell always hated the Purge. It terrified her. It was horrible not knowing if she was going to make it through the night, and she hated every minute leading up to 7pm on March 21st.

When President Roan's presidency started, she was thrilled that she'd abolished the Purge. Finally the world has seemed almost normal, like before this awful night existed

But now Roan's presidency has come to an end and the Purge is reinstated. It terrified June especially now that she was living alone, having moved out of her parents house during the Purge Peace Years

But now it was back and who knew what awful things could happen during these 12 hours
