He loved to watch her feed the stray cats. She loved to care for anyone but herself. Autumn didn't know how to be cared for, but cares so much, about the stray cats, about others, about her mom. She just cant feel any control over herself, her mind. Vince doesn't know how to care quite the right way but doesn't know how to loose yet someone else. He can't help but feel infatuated with the girl feeding the strays however. That always seemed to have a cloud behind her eyes.

He's hiding something, and for the first time, Jack doesn't know what it is. His seatmate in English Class, Violet, is an open book. Her disturbing thoughts deeply worry Jack and give him visions. He has to save her and know everything before it's too late. Jack's friends, Shawn and Mary, have something sinister going on. They haven't been hanging out with the band. Jack knows something's gonna happen. But he can only read minds, not tell the future. Will he stay sane, or will other people's thoughts get the best of him?
