This is the true confessions of a NYC graffiti writer this is a real-life current day NYC January 2013 all the graffiti writers graffiti crews they actually exist they are real people most of them still bombing today. If you are a graffiti writer and Either you or your graffiti crew is mentioned in this story that's just me giving you props. Unless of course I'm talking about graffiti beef which I will be talking about graffiti beef you can't talk about NYC graffiti without graffiti beef they coincide remember graffiti is a full contact sport!. third poem collection. they aren't in any particular order or anything like that, and after 100, there will always be a new one. if you've been here a while, I'm sure you know the drill. now, about the cover. it was a random Thursday, and an old friend and I went to Cottonwood Island Park in PG. this bridge is covered in graffiti and writing, and it has been painted over to cover it up, or boards have been replaced to get rid of it. yet, there's always writing on this bridge. it felt like no matter what, nobody can silence the voices that need to be heard. and I felt that. anyways, please enjoy this chaotic collection of poetry. 🏳️🌈 AROACE REPRESENTATION 🏳️🌈 TRANS PROTAGONISTS Thing is i like trouble, mess, the adrenaline of hitting the legs when things go wrong (even tho I'm not a good runner). I like to make things right by the wrong and that is pretty much everything you should need to know, but sometimes i bump into real problems, real pigs, even hyper-fast hedgehogs (I'm not gonna explain) And other times i cross with all of this at once and that's the story I'm gonna tell, one of the biggest messes i got into and i could not regret it less. I do not regret getting caught doing the paste-ups, or falling from my bike because of a flying rock, or having to eat wasabi chips. I do not regret any of the vandalism, throwing punches, mocking, being rude, being bossy or being me. In fact, being me and doing shit was one of the best things I've ever did for myself, for the city and for my family. So if you are interested in what I have to say, or if you already don't like me and want to see me getting waisted a couple of times, i think this story can be for you. And hopefully can teach you a couple of things. I had this idea last night after a few drinks, a pounding headache, and an excessive amount of throat lozenges. In order to inspire me to write more often than I currently do, I am planning to write a new post every day and publish it, allowing me to rant about whatever is on my mind. Anything goes with this story. Maybe I will talk about something deep and metaphysical about the meaning of human existence, or rant about why my life sucks and how I prefer iced tea over hot tea. Anything goes. This is just an inspiration to allow me to write SOMETHING every single day of the year. Hopefully I can keep up.... If I end up deleting this story, I guess you'll know that I failed.
