An Abrupt Change of Direction
Pete "Maverick" Mitchell has lost a lot over the years: his best friend, his wife, and the sudden risk of losing his career. He's always been the top pilot, so when this new trainer dismissed him, he had to prove her wrong. That is, until he makes a mistake that would change his life and Maddlyn's life forever. It soon became clear that the very mistake Maddlyn warned him he'd make came a lot sooner than he was prepared for.
