Sumire Ibayashi, a teenage half ghoul, is working at the CCG as the only pardoned ghoul in history. She was selected and began training, at the age of 10 years old, by a strange man, who went by the name Kureo Mado, after the death of her human mother and ghoul father. But the thing is... she already knew that were dead before she was told. and doesn't remember how it happend, the even stranger part is... she was there when it happened.
