Honesty is the Best Policy! {w/Rosy}
This story focuses on Rosy the Rascal and her conflict with a green pineapple. I am going to try not to stray from this topic by accidentally studying other characters and relationships (though I'll have to admit that Shadow and Rouge and Shadow and Infinite are a little tempting). To sum up Honesty is the Best Policy as a whole, it is a fanfiction turned psychological drama. It is separated into several different stories, each new story continuing from where the previous one stops. Some are called {____ Edition}, while others are called {w/____}. The editions are books focusing on a specific situation, problem, or occurring at a specific time. Books ending with "w/" and then a character's name are focusing on a specific character. At the same time as I'm publishing new parts of this story, you will find that another story is being updated as well, {Café Edition}. It is recommended that you follow that book as well as this one in order to get the full story. Both that story and this one are happening at the same time. The characters work at the café in the afternoons and go to school during the day. The previous books, in order, are as follows: {w/Sonic}, {w/Snow}, and {Forces Edition}, with {Café Edition} occurring all throughout these books beginning with {w/Snow}. My next book is called Rouge Tape. It is not a part of this series. Instead, it is a written form of the game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) in which I attempt to piece everything together by inserting a new character, Rouge the Bat, in order to observe and recount the events. If you are confused about any of the characters in this story, please visit my OC book. I will be posting descriptions of the Sonic characters as they appear in my stories as well as some of my own characters. Also, if any event or sequence in this story is hard to understand, don't be afraid to comment on that part and ask me what it means. I will either explain it or rewrite that part. The Sonic gang is going on a trip to another place called Sycora City, a 2 day trip from Green Hills. Shadow is driving because why not. Sonic is next to him in the passenger seat, bugging Shadow while he drives. Amy is with Sticks, trying to teach her how to act more ladylike and to stop being paranoid. Silver and Blaze and snoozing in the middle seats of the van next to Amy and Sticks. Knuckles and Rouge are sitting in the back. Rouge is teasing Knuckles and Knuckles is annoyed, looking out the window and trying to ignore her. Shadow-rin and Tails are sitting next to them. Tails is sitting next to the window and sleeping. Shadow-rin is sitting next to him and has her headphones in, drawing in her sketchbook. Their road trip was meant to be a fun and enjoyable time to just hang out. But on the first night, they stop to stay over in a hotel in a secluded area. The place was practically empty, and they were the only people there apart from the owner, an old man. The place was dark and old, but the room they booked was more better kept, minus the dust. At night, Shadow-rin and Tails hear something, making them look around the dark halls in the middle of the night to investigate. The owner is hiding something, but they don't know what. And they don't want to find out. SHIPS; Sonadow (Sonic x Shadow) Silaze (Silver x Blaze) Knuxouge (Knuckles x Rouge) Tailsrin (Tails x Shadow-rin/OC) These are my personally preferred ships, so please don't judge or hate.
