Cass is 17, angry at the world, and done pretending to care. She lives with her spiritually obsessed grandma in a house that reeks of incense and grief. Her sister's dead, her parents are MIA, and life's just one long, pointless drag.
Then one night, something snaps, and Cass accidentally kills someone.
That's when she meets him: the Grim Reaper. He's not what she expected, but he offers her a deal. Survive the layers of Hell, make it to the core, and he'll give her a second chance, whatever that means. Desperate or maybe just reckless, Cass says yes.
What follows is a descent through chaos. She meets monsters that whisper secrets, souls twisted into something unrecognizable, and people she almost remembers. Each layer peels her back, exposes her raw, and still she keeps going, because maybe, just maybe, something down there matters.
Summary: You are drawn to the thrill of horror, a fan of all things macabre. On a chilling Halloween night, your obsession leads you down a path of darkness as Art the Clown takes an interest in you, one that goes far beyond a typical haunting.

Warning: this isn't a really lovey dovey book like most are, this book I tried to make as close as possible to the real art himself. If gore and blood isn't your thing then I don't recommend it, if you can't handle mental torture then this book isn't for you either.
