William Rodgers was just an ordinary barista in a normal cafe. Every day, there was this one person who caught his eye. Henry Fletcher who always ordered a strong espresso. He wished that he had enough courage to ask him out. Until he got sick. William got Hanahaki. Hanahaki is a disease that makes the victim cough up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. It can be cured through surgical removal, but when the infection is removed, the victim's romantic feelings for their love will also disappear. Will William have enough courage to ask him out? Will Henry ever love him? Or will the flowers get to him first?

When she knew, there was little time left. ᴍᴏᴅᴇʀɴ ᴀᴜ ʜᴀɴᴀʜᴀᴋɪ ꜱᴇʀɪᴇꜱ : 2/3 The Hanahaki disease is an illness born from unrequited love, where the victim's throat will fill up with flowers and they will then begin to throw and cough up petals (sometimes even whole flowers). There are only two ways to cure the disease; it is if the person they love returns the feelings or it can be removed through surgery, though the feelings disappear along with the flowers. If neither of the options is chosen or made, the victim's lungs will fill up with flowers and eventually suffocate them. Killing them.
