Interesting. I'd lived in the north of Texas all my life, nothing ever happened there apart from the occasional posse of outlaws terrorising a town before being shut down by lawmen. A cult was different, people from around where I lived were methodists or protestants and were very easily misled by preachers for money. A cult was next level.

It wasn't on the map because it was built for the witness protection. This gave a whole new meaning to hiding in plain sight. I'm not the only one being hunted down. The government decided to round us all up and place us together. It almost seems like they wanted a bright red target on our heads. Now it is easier to be found. I know he's coming for me, but the question remains. Who will he bring with him? What happens when the town where everyone's hiding is found by their worst nightmares? ***** This book is selected as mature because of the violence depicted and the language used. Although it does depict much blood, it isn't overly described. If at any point, the graphics are too much, stop reading and message me about it. This novel does have spelling and grammar mistakes. This story is the first book I have ever uploaded to this site, and for those of you brave enough to read it, I applaud you. It really is horrible, like seriously bad. Runaway
I've been on the run for three years. I'm not the first, but I certainly won't be the last. For as long as I can remember, I had been experimented on, drugged to the brink of insanity, and tortured by someone I thought was my family. Boy, was I wrong. This isn't one of those stories where I suddenly get a huge boost of courage and defeat the bad guys then live happily ever after. I don't believe in that stuff anymore. Instead, I was a coward, and ran for my life, for my freedom, because I was too afraid to stand and fight and risk losing control like the monster they had created me to be. I've been too many people, have moved too many times. Now, I wonder if I will finally be able to find a place to call home... I won't allow myself to be captured before I even have a chance at that. The Returnee
'I was abducted by aliens' Pretty clique, boring and pretty common among internet hacks who thought lizardmen existed. Maybe they did, Lee didn't know. After the alien thing, anything could be real. 'I was abducted by aliens, returned, had a mental breakdown and ended up joining a mental health cult where I fell in love with a polygamist group of counsellors.' That had a bit more weight and interest to it. Add in 'I ran away but miss them' to the mix and Lee's life is summed up. Now the family has found him again and he's not quite inclined to avoid their pull back into the flock (As ever, I have about 10 chapters pre-written or else this would go in my drabble story)
Second Chance
In his last life he gave it all to his little brother who was kidnapped at the age of five , recused at the age of sixteen. Extra care - Brother needed it. Parent's support - How could he even ask for it when his brother missed it for eleven years. Brother owed it. Arranged marriage with his best friend - He never wanted it in the first place. They are like bros! So, when his brother showed interest in his best friend , he encouraged it. All he wanted was a happy and complete family. But he never realised that all his efforts to give his brother a family , would separate him from his family. "Your brother is sick ! We can't attend your graduation." - Mother "Just come back after taking the certificate. I think it's serious." - Best friend. .... "Bro , we already left for the trip. Why were you so late ?"- Best friend. "Why didn't you pick up your calls ? Your brother was worried to death. He almost had a panic attack. We started the journey to distract him."- mother. ..... "Your brother is new to the family. How would he know you are allergic to eggs?" - Mother. "Just go to the hospital. Don't ruin his birthday." - Father. "Bro , why did you even eat that cake ? I can't leave the party to accompany you now." - Best friend. ...... He had enough. He loves his brother too but his love shouldn't be one sided "Do you all even care about me ?I am dying here. My allergy is severe. I can die." He shouts with a hoarse voice. "Nobody dies from egg allergy. Don't exaggerate." "You all are my family. You all know how serious it is. My limbs are getting numb." "We are sending the driver." "Is dd's birthday more important than my life ?" That was the last question he asked before his senses went shady. "How can you be jealous of your own brother." That's what he heard for the last time before everything went black. He chuckles in his fate. What a joke his life has become ! Wish he could get another chance , another chance to live once again !
THE DEVIL IN MATTHEW
The devil in Matthew is a story about Mma, a graduate of the higher institution without a good job and money to give herself a better life found herself psychologically affected by the fact that she was still single at the age of twenty-nine. She endured series of mockery and heavy pressure from her mother about getting married. She got to a point where she didn't care about who the man was or what his life was enthralled with, all she cared about was getting married and getting her mother off her shirt. Even when she finally got a proposal from a guy that was once a childhood friend of her brothers, she wasn't convinced that he was the one but she said yes to avoid any more troubles with her mother. Her marriage was not what she had imagined it to be, her husband was a jobless man who lived with his mother. He actually got married to her because he thought she was from a rich family. He wanted a family he could live off. He didn't know that they didn't have all the glitters and riches and they were living in their past glory. He was patient enough with her. He tried all he could to hide his real self. After the birth of her daughter, they left town to make a better life for themselves that was when the real devil in him unleashed. He became unbearable, he beat her, and he sometimes threw her out in the cold and brought different types of women into their home. Even when she tried to develop herself, by venturing into a business, he tried all he could to wash it down the drain. She was torn between staying in the marriage and running away when she lost a pregnancy due to his battering. She wanted to leave because she was scared and she was scared of leaving because of what people would say about a woman leaving her matrimonial home. At this point in her life and for the first time, she was going to make a decision for herself without caring so much about what people would say about her.Terminé

Britannia and her family are apart of a cult. Her family sees nothing wrong with it, but she does. They often do these.... Rituals and torture people. Their excuse? It's to please THEM.
