The rain fell in heavy, unforgiving sheets the night Jake first saw him-a bleeding shadow slumped on the road, his beauty stark even in the dim glow of the streetlamp. Something dangerous flickered in Sunghoon's gaze when their eyes met, a silent plea wrapped in something far darker.

Jake smiled at him. He looked up covering the taller man with the umbrella fingers trembling as he pressed a bandage to Sunghoon's wound, unaware that this single act of mercy would bind them together in ways he couldn't yet fathom.
