Yukine is a sixteen year old boy who has known nothing but hurt all of his life. He has heterochromia, a deformity that makes ones eyes two different colors. Because of this, he has been picked on and severely bullied for as long as he can remember, which is why he is now shy and doesn't like to talk to people unless they share the same interests. Nishiki is also sixteen, and chooses to spend most of his time with the only person on the planet that he likes. His time without her, however, is spent being forced into a wall and beaten up by the boy he fell in love with and dated during kindergarten and grade one. His so-called 'turned homophobic' bully has driven Nishiki down the road of self-harm and isolation. In a school that is based around anime fandoms, will Yukine and Nishiki's similar tastes in not only anime but manga and music help in the long roads ahead, or will circumstances drive them apart forever?
