The building is a cold disaster of bad wiring and worse smells. Downstairs is Sam Monroe, a volatile artist fuelled by rage and needing silence. Upstairs is Rodrick Heffley, a loud drummer running his band with pure chaos. They start as enemies fighting over noise and filth, but when the threat of eviction forces them together, their hatred sparks a connection neither expected. Now, they're roommates, two broken screw-ups using each other to survive. It's an impossible, angsty slow burn from war to a fragile kind of love.
