I thought id give it ago & to have a new focus point to steadying out my anxiety. Never done anything like this before. feel free to point out mistakes nicely im trying to edit quickly. It was a single teenage mistake that led to a very big mistake,and now am paying for my mistake. I have looked for the man infront of me for many years,but now that I have found him,he is looking at me totally dumbstruck because he doesn't remember,I doubt if he even knows me. I can still remember the way my dad kept beating me,the pain of the beating and the pain in my heart intensifying,but my answer was still the same. "I don't know." Why? Because it was only ONE NIGHT. Because of one night, I have to learn about life the hardest way. 3rd place winner in random category of dark academia awards 2021!

This is a series of poems about a woman i was once in love with long ago. Everything was sweet like strawberries at first, but deep down she was just using me as a rebound to get over a broken heart she has. We met in a speech class one semester, I couldn't talk to her, I shyly had someone else to talk to her. long story short, I should have got to know her like should, because she judged me for what had and didn't have. i loved her so much that I knew that she was cheating on me and wanted her to stay, but God removed her out of my life. she done so much wrong to me, but love her even of all her flaws. This is part one of the collections of me expressing my love to her.

"Abort it." "Excuse me ?" "Abort that thing inside of you!" He shouts in my face. I put my hands on his chest trying to put some space between us, The man didn't even budge. "I'm not aborting my baby!" I feel strong hands wrap around my throat and the next thing I know I'm being lifted off the floor, fighting for air. "Listen here you bitch you will abort that child and if you don't I'll personally kill you both myself. I'm a man of my word so do not test me." He spat dead calm. Elora finds herself in a sticky position when her brother was in a terrible car accident, leading to an expensive medical bill that neither of them could afford. Her parents died when she was young, leaving her brother as her sole guardian, the two had been incredibly close over the years and she had to find a way to help him in his current position. She had no choice but to sleep with a man she knew nothing about for money just to cover the hospital bill, but later found out she was pregnant. The worst-case scenario is, the father wants nothing to do with her and the unborn child. After three years of guilt, pain, and regret, the two cross paths once more, and Elora struggles to make the right decisions as he was determined to be in their little girl's life.
