When Ann retests The Amazing Digital Circus, she has doubts about what will happen. But based on what her co worker says, it sounds like the development team have fixed every major issue. But define 'major', and you've got one major issue that wasn't fixed: getting trapped. 
Now that she is trapped there again with everyone else, Ragatha notices someone out of place. There is another jester that looks identical to Pomni. Her name is Starry, and her design is similar to Pomni's. Being stuck in the circus isn't easy, and Ragatha, Pomni and everyone else are determined to make sure nothing bad happens to Starry, unlike Pomni.
