After a year on Destiny Islands, Kairi mysteriously disappears without a trace. Sora, Donald, and Goofy, the three brave heroes, go off through the worlds to find her. That's when they meet Tsuki and their destinies become intertwined. Together they must put an end to the unbalance between light and darkness by defeating the 13 seekers in the inevitable second Keyblade War. Sora and Tsuki may be in over their heads as they save the worlds from darkness and learn just how important they are.
DISCLAIMER: I have NO rights towards the characters created or the previous plots of the Kingdom Hearts franchise created by SquareEnix. This is simply a fanfic on what I think could happen in KH3.
*Themes in this story are based on the events of the entire Kingdom Hearts franchise. I STRONGLY suggest you play each game in order to follow the ideas which will be present throughout the novel.

Kingdom Hearts 1 (Female Sora AU)
The events of the Kingdom Hearts Saga if Sora and Kairi had been born the opposite gender. Soraya is an average tomboyish girl living on the Destiny Islands with her two best friends. Riku, who had been her closest friend her whole life (so close that they were practically siblings), and Kai, a sweet and creative boy who she had a slight crush on. One day, when Soraya was fourteen, her life changed forever when darkness invaded her home, and only she had the power to combat it. Little did she know that she was the prophesied Child of Destiny. ***I've loved Kingdom Hearts for years. I have all three main games. I've seen a couple genderbend fanfictions about it before, which were really good, but I thought I could elaborate more. Only Sora and Kairi are genderbent in this fanfiction. I do realize that Sora is a Japanese unisex name, but I associate it too much with a boy character to use it. Soraya is a Persian name that means "star cluster," which I feel fits perfectly, and Kai is a unisex name that means "sea" in Hawaiian, which also works well. There will be no POVs in this fanfiction. Kingdom Hearts is the property of Square Enix and Disney. Found inspiration for Kai's design on Google Images. (Copywrite is the last thing I want). I only own the genderbent versions of Sora and Kairi. So please enjoy my first entry in my genderbent Kingdom Hearts Saga. Also, I may include some more detailed information about some characters. This is a story about a group of junior heroes Sora, Kalani, Donald, and Goofy. Sora and Kalani are both Keyblade wielders. The only difference is that Kalani received the Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony, unlike Sora. She had received her first Keyblade from Aqua. Sora and Kalani had met in Destiny Islands and were childhood friends that grew to have feelings for each other, but when the darkness swallowed their home they were sent to another world together. Hallow Bastion, where they also met Donald and Goofy. They went on a journey to find their friends, Kairi and Riku, and to save the worlds from darkness. During their journey, Sora and Kalani grew and started to like each other even more. After they had defeated the darkness, they went to find King Mickey and Riku. But they were soon put into a deep slumber until their next journey calls them. What will happen to Sora and Kalani? What troubles await them in their new journey?
