He chuckled and lowered the cat to the floor. His eyes locked onto hers, and in his deep, velvety voice that always made her knees wobble, he said, "Okay, I'll keep it away from you on one condition."

"WHAT CONDITION?" she demanded, her chest heaving with irritation.

His gaze held hers, steady and intense. "KISS.ME. And please remove those glasses I want to see your eyes while doing it."
