Lillian Brook has always been different-an enigma to herself and the people around her. Raised in the Ark, she's kept to the shadows, never quite fitting in with the others. Her dreams, strange and vivid, have always set her apart-faces she doesn't recognize, voices speaking in a language no one on the Ark can understand. Lately, the pull she feels toward Earth has only grown stronger, as if something-or someone-below is waiting for her. As her dreams grow more vivid and the language becomes eerily familiar, Lillian starts to question who she really is.
