The fourth installment in the Song of the Crickets series.

After surviving the fire that killed his stepfather, sixteen-year-old Damien is left with no family, no answers, and a memory that won't explain how he made it out alive. Taken in by a mysterious man named Mel, Damien is brought to a hidden town in the Romanian wilderness-a sanctuary for werewolves, witches, hybrids, and other outcasts like himself. When a cosmic entity known as the Whisperman begins haunting the woods and driving people mad, Damien discovers it's not a monster, but a lost being desperate to return home. Defying his mentors and risking the fragile peace of the village, Damien chooses compassion over fear and sets out to build a portal to send the creature back-knowing it may cost him everything.

What begins as a mission of mercy soon spirals into a battle for the soul of the world, and Damien, caught between heaven, hell, and something far stranger, must decide not just what he is... but who he's willing to become.
