Dragged into a world of masked killers and cruel games, she's expected to break - to be another disposable soul in the dark. But one of them watches her too closely. Keeps her alive too long. "You seem to be thinking a lot today." EJ said to me as he laid back into the bed with me. I turned my head to look at him. "Yeah something like that" I said back to him. He gave me a soft smile. "What else is on your mind?" I gave a soft smile back to him. "My mom." I said with a little sigh. "Tell me about her." He said softly I looked back at the ceiling. "You want to hear about my dead mom?" His voice spoke softly and genuinely "Yes." I looked back at him turning my body over so I was completely facing him. He did the same. I gave a small smile to him before I started talking about my mom. The sun shined through my bedroom window hitting the place on the bed that we were laying on. This moment felt so peaceful like how the world feels before a storm.
