🎤 For characters/ ships- No adult x Newsie ships, so don't even think about it. Nothing inappropriate in the newsies characters/ realm. I also won't really write about adults in Newsies at all or the Delancey brothers, unless I feel like it or someone asks me. No sibling ships, like Ike x Mike, or Morris x Oscar. That's weird 🤮. Also I'm not doing jack x crutchie, I believe that they are best friends, and shouldn't be in a romantic relationship. ( Sry to the people out there who like them, but this is my book and my rules, not to be mean 😊😝)

I would call this story an unsuccess. This was my first ever story (and that is the main reason why is it still up) I did not know what I was doing here, I had no plot ideas so it stayed plot-less. Only by looking at kudos and views, you should be able to see that it is not good. So if you are looking for some well written stories, this one is not for you (you might want to check out my other story if you want to, because I think I'm doing a bit better with writing there). I might rewrite this one day tho :) . Fred is questioning his brotherly love for his prank brother Lee. After Lee comes out as gay he understands that this might be his chance to find out his real feelings and possibly ask the Quidditch commentator out. *Disclaimer* Any music reference (including title) I do not own, it is owned by Waterparks. I love this album so much that I accidentally wrote a musical inspired by the songs. This will be written more in a very detailed script writing than an actual story. I will include links to the songs so you can listen along with the lyrics and what character sings what. Sometimes I changed what the character is saying so it makes more sense. Asher and Sam have been best friends since middle school. When you're the only two queer kids at your small conservative Texas school, you stick together. This story starts on the last day of senior year, where they meet someone named Jasmine, who has just come out as pansexual and nonbinary. Jasmine has always had a huge crush on Asher, but so has Sam. And Asher... is a confused mess. Follow their story of how these two try to purse their dreams of becoming musicians and if that dream is lost from a screwed up love triangle. Trigger warnings: bullying, sexual assault, queer slurs used as insults My dream is to make this a real musical, but I have to get permission from Waterparks to use their music. Winter. A time of year the newsboys of New York City wish they skip over. It got cold- real cold. Newsies all over would start showing signs of sickness within the first weeks of winter. Not as many people are out on the streets, which means not as many people are there to buy papes. Money gets scarce and it's not like any of them can afford a winter coat. Wintertime is chaotic enough as it is, but when you're a newsboy trying to juggle a forbidden relationship, the death of many friends, and the return of a psychotic family member? Yeah, things can get a little... destructive. Story length: 27,730 ------------------------------ THERE IS A BREAKDOWN OF THE MOVIE VS MUSICAL AT THE VERY END WHERE I JUST DISSECT THE MOVIE AND WHATNOT. IT DOESN'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO ME WHETHER OR NOT YOU READ IT, I JUST WANTED TO PUT IT OUT THERE. DISCLAIMERS: - These characters are not mine, they all belong to Disney (excluding a couple little side characters here and there) - The word 'queer' is used frequently towards the end. While I am fully aware that it is not always used as a slur, I just couldn't bring myself to have one of the boys say the 'f' word. (You know the one) - This is going to be a mix of the 1992 Newsies and the Broadway Newsies, so I apologize in advance if you get a little confused. I just can't decide which is better, but for some characters I can only see them as the 1992 version or the broadway version. - Main difference: The relationship is going to be Jack and Katherine, meaning that neither Sarah nor Denton exist.
