As time passes, JJ finds unexpected connection with firefighter Eddie Diaz, while Evan Buckley faces a controversial spark with returning pilot Tommy Kinard and a young May Grant has to make a tough decision between the romantic Albert Han and the reliable Ravi Panikkar.

The story's first chapter takes place in 911's Season 5, Episode 3 (though not strictly following all canon events or timeline, before or after) and JJ's character comes from around the 15th season of Criminal Minds. I took the liberty to change some details about other canon characters and also add original characters.
