The summer party was supposed to be harmless-music spilling into the night, laughter rising like sparks into the warm air-but for Bailey, it became the moment everything quietly shifted. Beneath the string lights and careless smiles, something unraveled inside her, a truth she had tried too long to ignore.

Later, in the stillness of the house, she makes a wrong turn and pushes open a bathroom door she shouldn't. Yoshi stands there-unexpected, unbothered, infuriatingly familiar. The air tightens between them, charged not with surprise, but history. Their words fall into an old rhythm of sharp wit and half-hidden meaning, each line edged with everything they never resolved.
