Two people founded the kingdom of Lamakaie; the main founder was a woman named La and the secondary founder was a man named Ka. After their kingdom was established they got into an argument and a war had begun. La had all the people in the kingdom on her side, but Ka had something better. He installed a switch that had the ability to submerge the castle completely underground, and so even with La's army of numbers she could do nothing to stop the castle from going completely underground. Afterwards La had Ka arrested and placed him in a water chamber far away from the kingdom. The castle remained underground, but everything else in the kingdom remained the same. Lamakaie was at peace again. When La died she had chosen two people to take her place, but one was a favorite of the people of the kingdom and the other one became consumed by his shadows.

Y/n is from the Feudal Japan and is a full demon, when she was walking around a village she ran into Kagome, Inuyasha, Shippo, and a perverted priest. Inuyasha tried to kill her since he sensed she was a demon but failed since Kagome said those 2 damn words. After they got to now Y/n, Kagome invited her to join them and she happily excepted, I mean who wouldn't after being alone for almost a 100 years. Y/n is a rare demon, there's no other demon that possesses her power. She's the demon of the phoenix so she has flames as her main power, but there not just any flames there blue flames. One day when they were fighting another demon they opened a portal and Kagome tried to push her out of the way but got herself pulled in as well. What happens when they wake up in modern time, for Kagome it's nothing new but for Y/n who had only been to Kagome's world a few times it's quite different for her. Especially with the way they dress and the she can't use her powers around other people. So will Kagome be able to get Y/n back home or will Y/n wanna stay in this world, also does Y/n find love or no. I've always fallen for older guys and liked the friends-to-lovers tropes, so this will hit both of those. I've tried to include little Easter eggs and nods to Inuyasha and Yashahime. Saya grew up in a small village, on an extremely small island. Her dad died when she was a year old. He was in the army and went off to fight but never returned. Saya's mom had cancer since Saya was six. Everyone knew it, but she tried so hard to hide it rather than ask for help. She tried to fight it at the same time but it never worked, the treatments always failed. When she died, Saya was barely eight years old, and had to go live with her uncle, on the opposite coast of the island. He was abusive to her, but she never had anywhere to go and Saya felt bad for him. His wife had died the year before, so he didn't think he had a purpose in life. The neighbors knew what he was doing, but didn't have the proof to bring it to the police. Saya heard of a tiquando class nearby, and wanted to learn to protect herself, so she snuck in every day and practiced from a safe distance. One day, two kids found her and they later became friends, their names were Lin and Jaune. When Saya was eleven, her uncle was murdered, and the police arrested her, since she was the only one living there. Later, Lin and Jaune were arrested trying to break her out. They've been there ever since. Hey guys! So I know this is a long description, but that is just a little background information on the main character in this book.
