Lainey and Grayson have known each other since Kindergarten. They become best friends until she overhears him talking to his other friends badly about her on the first day of middle school. When she ices him out, he can't help but wonder what he did wrong. Spending the next 6 years trying to break through the guard she has up, until they graduate. Little do they know, they end up attending the same college, and when he starts failing a class, they fall back into each others lives.
