A scandal shook the Bouchard family when young Duke Lucas Bouchard was dumped by his unfaithful fiancee Elizabeth three weeks before their wedding. She left without a word and only her best friend, the town's gossiper Rosemary knew of her whereabouts. And that was the first time he set eyes on Grace Bennett, Lady Danbury's protege and a nanny in the Bridgerton's household. She lost her parents at the tender age of five and was sent with her sister Lillian into the orphanage. After a year and half Lillian got adopted. Grace wasn't. Twelve years later, she is still trying to find her sister. Hence, she applied for a position of nanny in the Bridgertons household to earn money so she can continue her search.
