In the wake of a war between the Fair Folk and his kingdom, a young prince and his companions must find the seven shards of Excalibur to restore the sword and save his kingdom from certain peril. * * * When an Unseelie assassin attempts to take the life of a human king, what was once a thirty-year cold war threatens to become an all-out battle between the Fair Folk and the kingdom of Venedotia. Kit, the scorned second prince, finds himself caught in the middle of it when he meets a druid, who shows him a vision that tears apart everything he thought to be true. Alongside a Lady Knight, a Seelie princess, a foreign thief, and that dreadfully handsome Unseelie assassin, the two of them must embark on a journey to find the seven shards of Excalibur, to bring the sword back to its former glory and stop this war before it turns into something much deadlier. * * * This is the updated version of my two-time Watty's shortlisted original work, Excalibur's Seven. This is more than just an edit, it's a total overhaul, with more adventure, more danger, and even more romance. Enjoy! * * * DISCLAIMER: This work was written entirely by a real human. A kingdom sold. A prince forgotten. A woman whose fire might be the end of him... or his salvation. Thorian under the alias Corrin, the last heir of a fallen house, lives in the shadow of his burned past, hidden behind a false name and the armor of the knightly order that raised him. When fate places him in the path of a silver-haired stranger with fire behind her eyes, he expects trouble. He doesn't expect her to change everything. Loona is sharp-tongued, guarded, and dangerous and hiding a secret of her own. As kingdoms stir and ancient powers awaken, Thorian finds himself torn between duty and desire, drawn to a woman he barely understands and haunted by a legacy he can't ignore. But secrets have teeth, and the deeper they fall into war, prophecy, and blood, the harder it becomes to tell who is saving who and who is damning them both. Loyalties will be tested. Love will be twisted. And before the heir can reclaim his crown, he must first decide what kind of king and man he's willing to become. Note: I am trying to avoid most pitfalls that seems to be in every fantasy story lately and make it more relatable to the reader when able. Some pitfalls may be unavoidable though. Also, I only use AI for editing, art and world building assistance. The eventual goal is to hire an actual editor and artist to eliminate it entirely. That being said I don't have any issues with anybody using AI as long as they don't ghostwrite with it. What to expect: Male Lead/ some Female lead when applicable Slow Burnish Kingdom Building Romance Medieval time period/with fantasy aspect Battles Some erotica World Building 30 Chapters laid out maybe more, at least 3 books planned (If I make it that far)
