Aminah is quiet, closed off, and hides her passion for poetry from the world. Matteo, outgoing and determined, is stuck in a mechanical engineering program, constantly trying to prove himself to a father who demands he follow a path in aerospace engineering. When Matteo offers to help Aminah find the confidence to perform her poetry in front of an audience, he makes a deal: she'll teach him how to express himself through art in return. As they navigate their own personal struggles, Aminah with a fractured family and Matteo with the pressure to live up to his father's expectations, their connection grows.
