The Series of Letdowns, That is My Life

I pack up my things and stand up to leave the classroom, but just then the universe decides to make my miserable life worse. My shoe gets caught on a table leg and I fall, flat of the ground, luckily my bag is zipped up so my books haven't spilled out. Groaning I pick myself up and walk towards the school car park.
Hello dear person who is reading this. I'm Artemis Yukanna and welcome to the series of letdowns that is my life.

Artemis Yukanna is 100% plus another 99% sure that the world is out to get her and make her life miserable. She doesn't believe in optimism or in being optimistic, she thinks it's a waste of time and just promotes sadness.
Whereas Luke Ryder believes that the world is beautiful despite its flaws. He thinks that sadness is worth it if it leads one to true happiness. He is hell bent on making Artemis see the world the same way that he does, and she is hell bent on the idea of killing him and feeding him to her mother's cat.
Join Artemis as she plots different ways to get rid of the body
