He knows the story because he watched the anime (and is in a Facebook group where novel spoilers are posted), but he doesn't know as much as he should. To add to his problems, his physical condition is poor-not terrible, but poor. He's chubby, and the little he knows about self-defense is what he learned from a boxing class he took as a teenager (he was the most one-handed in the group). (AU: Subaru doesn't suffer from his self-loathing and has worked past it ages ago, deciding to focus on becoming "The best I can be". This Subaru will focus on revolutionizing the world with his inventions and gaining more power through The System to bring his parents to this world rather than trying to go back. This also means Subaru will, eventually, become op. However, his growth rate is similar to Sung Jinwoo's in which he will become incredibly powerful in the span of a few months.
