Tiny Red Pills

Luke is drowning in a depression he can't explain, each day bleaker than the last-until a doctor he barely remembers meeting prescribes him a bottle of tiny red pills. The bottle is massive, blue, and always cold to the touch. The pills don't make him happy, exactly-but they make everything else quiet. Bearable. Manageable.

Then, one day, the doctor is gone.

No goodbye. No file. No trace. The clinic is empty, the office abandoned. When Luke asks the neighbors, they insist there's never been a doctor there at all-not in that building, not in this town.

As the pills run out, Luke's world begins to unravel. Shadows seem to move when he's not looking. People repeat conversations word for word, like glitches. Strangers watch him with empty smiles. And buried memories surface-ones that don't seem to belong to this life.

Luke must decide whether to chase the truth behind the pills or accept the comforting illusion they offer. Because whatever is real... might be worse than the lie.
