A troubled artist spends his days drawing comics and writing journal entries based on his lonely life. His posts have attracted a following of people in the same situation as him. As they bond over social media, they discover that a group of unemployed government agents are killing off social rejects with a ravenous species of aliens, and plot to overthrow the US government with them. Neil comes up with an idea even crazier than the unemployed agents' idea for him and his followers to live better lives.
