A boy forgotten by the world clings to the only person who's ever made him feel real. Another, caught between countries and languages, learns to survive by building walls around his heart. A sharp-eyed girl sees what no one else can-but even she can't trust her own mind. Somewhere, a man searches for someone who may never have existed. And above it all, a figure watches quietly from behind glass and locked doors-pulling strings, or maybe just trying to break free himself.
As their stories twist and collide, the cracks in reality begin to widen-and through them, something stirs. Something no one is ready to face.

What does "book kept on hold" mean? It means that I have TEMPORARILY discontinued the book. Why? Because, I feel like In today's world, with the current socio-economic situation, I should write something a bit more politically impactful. So, I've taken a break from writing this story to start a new one. This does not mean that this book isn't good. It just means that I want to focus more on politics rn. And I don't want to bring politics into THIS book.
