Theater of Dreams - (english version)

Kate and her older brother, Jay, escape from the oppressive St. Johanna orphanage, where they have spent the last ten years. Their goal is freedom and the fulfillment of their dreams, a dream that Jay calls "the theater of dreams".
Thanks to their musical talent, the two siblings attract the attention of Peter, a guitarist in a local band called Waft. Peter invites them to join the band and, Kate and Jay, find themselves immersed in a new world of music, opportunities and inspiring people.
The initial enthusiasm, however, is soon overshadowed by the internal dynamics of the band, in particular by the presence of Vanessa, a dancer from the club "La Valle delle Bambole", who exerts a negative influence on Jay. Vanessa is in fact an ambiguous woman, with a difficult past and a manipulative nature, who soon aims to separate Kate from her brother.
While Jay falls into a vortex of self-destruction, Kate gets closer to Kevin, the charismatic leader of Waft. Between the two a feeling is born that soon reveals itself to be complex and tormented.
As the line between dreams and reality becomes increasingly blurred, Kate must find the strength to face her past, define her future, and discover if her "theater of dreams" is truly achievable.
