As she grew older, it began to not matter who he was or had been. She had her mother and that was enough. As she begins her third year at Hogwarts with her best friends Harry, Ron, and Hermione, her world changes as suddenly her family's secret relation to the infamous mass murderer Sirius Black might be enough to cost her her dearest friends. Amara Black. Drowning in grief, she wrestles with the loss of her husband as the wizarding world celebrates the vanquishment of Voldemort all the while pointing fingers of blame at the love of her life, Sirius. Eliana Black. She lost the only real family she had ever known after the loss of her father when her cousin Sirius was arrested and Amara went off the grid. With only her daughter Althea left, she has to continually fight against her impending loneliness. Contains flashbacks to their time at Hogwarts, yielding some marauder's era content as well as Harry's era and post-war era.
