He decides to leave his home of Japan for a new start. After looking for quiet and good places to begin, he found a place. Deep in the south and bayou of Lousiana in the United States. That choice changes his life for the better.

(I suck at making summaries) Seven years post war. Izuku has been quirkless as his friends are off being pro heroes. Walking to his job as a U.A teacher, a villain jumps out in front of him, accidentally returning One for All. It should be great, getting his quirk, well 'given' quirk back. The problem is, he shattered his arm once again while using it. He didn't get all the training back, he has to start from scratch.
