Merlin was devastated when Arthur died. She didn't think she would ever be happy in the same way again-and she wasn't. But Merlin found something much more important.

You see, she had been lost ever since Kilgharrah told her she was immortal. She wandered, unsure of her place in the world, until 500 years later, when she traveled to the so-called "New World."

There, she met a family. She grew close to the parents, but even closer to the children. She loved them as if they were her own-especially when their real parents turned against them for what they had become.

But Merlin loved them anyway. She always would.
