In the turbulent landscape of 1980s apartheid South Africa, where racial divides permeate every aspect of life, a quiet, bookish young man from Soweto named Zipho "Zee" Mpofana finds his world colliding with that of Taye Kotze, a privileged and prejudiced jock from the affluent suburb of Sandton.
