March 28th, 1986, the day after the sleepy town of Hawkins, Indiana, was rocked by a major disaster. Although separated, the Hawkins Crew and California Crew face the same uncertainty, for themselves and everyone they care about. It's a strange new world, but at least they can depend on their friends and maybe even the kindness of strangers.
