I cant believe its happening, it's finally happening. I'm leaving, for good.
I stood in the parking lot with my bags at my feet and an umbrella over my head. It was raining heavily and the wind was blowing at full force. I was freezing cold when he came, he was late but I didn't mind,I was just happy to be out of that horrid place. He pulled up in front of me and rolled down the window, "Hi." I greeted. He leaned over the passenger seat and said " Hi, are you Penelope? Im supposed to pick her up." " Yeah that's me" I replied getting into the car "Then you must be Evan" Why did i say that? I sounded so stupid. Thats it hes gonna think im stupid and we're not gonna have a good brother-sister bond and i just ruined everything. I always ruin everything god I'm so- I started thinking when Even cut me off "Yep" he said popping the 'p' "So how's life?" That's a terrible way to start a conversation "Yeah I know but it was worth a try, am i right?" he said " Did I say that out loud? That's so embarrassing" I wined

I was frozen, she was heaving and she fell from the bed onto her knees. She crawled to the corner of the room, in between the wall and the dresser. Her red shirt rubbing against the green walls of the bedroom. Her shoulder grazed the beige dresser, making scratches on her arms and she didn't care. I looked down at the ring sitting on my foot, to my Evangeline. My mouth hung open but I couldn't say anything, the only noise in the room was the scraping of Evangeline's shoulder and the little giggles escaping the cot. When the rain clouds disappear
Aaron felt that rain clouds surrounded him and he was perfectly comfortable with that, he didn't like people- end of story. That is until Keira, the personification of sunlight and his new next door neighbour comes along and flips his entire love for solitude on its head. Then the rain clouds begin to disappear... Aaron sat and listened to me as shadows danced off his jaw, I watched as it flexed. "I cant believe anyone could find you too much" he said looking almost perplexed by the idea of it. "I mean your laugh, your voice, your smile, it all fits you so perfectly" My breath hitched at his words. No one had ever said that to me it felt almost like a confession of some sorts. Intimately whispered in the soft lighting of my kitchen like a secret being told. I laughed then to break the intense atmosphere that had taken over but it just made his eyes crinkle and his dimples appear. "Oh" was all I could say. I was actually speechless. My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now. I let out a long sigh and got out of bed. We had just bought this house about three weeks ago. Everyone was still unpacking and getting used to this house. We had an apartment for about two years - which I wouldn't recommend with five other people - and we all had gotten jobs. Long story short this house was a major accomplishment for all of us. "Penelope?" I called out to her. "Tv room!" She answered back. I walked in, Ashley was there too. Which makes sense because they had gotten together recently, but Ash was messing with Penelope's newly dyed hair. Penelope looked almost like a new person. We had gotten her some help after getting out of the facility. She's now a healthy weight, longer hair, and now hot pink and black hair! Ash looked like, well, Ash. Her messy hair - that I swore kept getting worse - was now in a ponytail. "What's up Max?" She said brightly.
