I cant believe its happening, it's finally happening. I'm leaving, for good.
I stood in the parking lot with my bags at my feet and an umbrella over my head. It was raining heavily and the wind was blowing at full force. I was freezing cold when he came, he was late but I didn't mind,I was just happy to be out of that horrid place. He pulled up in front of me and rolled down the window, "Hi." I greeted. He leaned over the passenger seat and said " Hi, are you Penelope? Im supposed to pick her up." " Yeah that's me" I replied getting into the car "Then you must be Evan" Why did i say that? I sounded so stupid. Thats it hes gonna think im stupid and we're not gonna have a good brother-sister bond and i just ruined everything. I always ruin everything god I'm so- I started thinking when Even cut me off "Yep" he said popping the 'p' "So how's life?" That's a terrible way to start a conversation "Yeah I know but it was worth a try, am i right?" he said " Did I say that out loud? That's so embarrassing" I wined

I let out a long sigh and got out of bed. We had just bought this house about three weeks ago. Everyone was still unpacking and getting used to this house. We had an apartment for about two years - which I wouldn't recommend with five other people - and we all had gotten jobs. Long story short this house was a major accomplishment for all of us. "Penelope?" I called out to her. "Tv room!" She answered back. I walked in, Ashley was there too. Which makes sense because they had gotten together recently, but Ash was messing with Penelope's newly dyed hair. Penelope looked almost like a new person. We had gotten her some help after getting out of the facility. She's now a healthy weight, longer hair, and now hot pink and black hair! Ash looked like, well, Ash. Her messy hair - that I swore kept getting worse - was now in a ponytail. "What's up Max?" She said brightly. When the rain clouds disappear
Aaron felt that rain clouds surrounded him and he was perfectly comfortable with that, he didn't like people- end of story. That is until Keira, the personification of sunlight and his new next door neighbour comes along and flips his entire love for solitude on its head. Then the rain clouds begin to disappear... Aaron sat and listened to me as shadows danced off his jaw, I watched as it flexed. "I cant believe anyone could find you too much" he said looking almost perplexed by the idea of it. "I mean your laugh, your voice, your smile, it all fits you so perfectly" My breath hitched at his words. No one had ever said that to me it felt almost like a confession of some sorts. Intimately whispered in the soft lighting of my kitchen like a secret being told. I laughed then to break the intense atmosphere that had taken over but it just made his eyes crinkle and his dimples appear. "Oh" was all I could say. I was actually speechless. I mean what could I say to that without spilling my guts to him. Hi! This is a grumpy x sunshine, next door neighbour, he's obsessed with her and she's oblivious to it romcom. Rain hit the pavement like shattered glass, soaking through my jacket, my hair, my thoughts. I was halfway down the street, furious, breath heavy, when I heard his voice behind me. "Y/N-wait!" I turned, fists clenched at my sides, water dripping from my lashes. "What do you want, Colin? Haven't you scrambled my head enough already?" He stopped a few feet away, rain running down his face like tears he wouldn't ever let fall himself. "You don't get it," he said, voice low, rough. "You think this is just some glitch in your day? A weird coincidence?" I shook my head, backing away. "You act like you know me-like you've known me-but I just met you! You're a stranger with too many secrets and a stare like it knows things it shouldn't." Colin stepped forward. "Because I do know you!" My breath caught. "I remember every version of you," he went on, voice cracking. "Every timeline. Every branch. Every weird little tangent. In every reality I end up in, somehow-you're always there. "It's cold." The story I'm about to tell you is probably the least believable and most outrageous one out there, but I need you to hear me out on this. I was once a normal girl. Once, like, once upon a time, but this isn't a fairytale with a damsel in distress. For the most part I was happy, living in a foster home with my adoptive parents and four foster siblings who I didn't always agree with, but for the most part, life was good. All of that changed when some things in the house happened, I won't tell you the details, but I got very...unstable. I couldn't trust anyone and eventually that ticking time bomb exploded in the most colossal of ways. I ended up in what I thought was a hospital while my entire family ended up dead. From there on, I learned about something called the PASCI foundation. PASCI of course being an acronym for Paranormal And Supernatural Containment Initiative. They worked to collect people like me who were either super powered, monsters, or unexplainable phenomenon such as ghosts and people who love country music. I thought they were trying to help me. They told me I would do great things, and that I'd be such a great asset to have on the team. For the first time since I could remember, I felt wanted, and in a way, loved. "Bianca what the fuck was that?" David says to me as we walk inside his house. The whole car ride was silent, no one uttered a word and I don't know why. I hate silence.
