At a very young age, Leng witnessed how her family fell apart. Until her grandfather, Tatay Gido, chose to be her sole guardian.

She then grew up with just her Tatay Gido and was perfectly fine with the small world she had. Her classmates were her buddies, the neighbors were always on her side, and her grandpa? He was her home.

But when they moved to her Lolo's old hometown, everything started to feel different.

That's where she met Melay, the quiet girl from the middle of rice fields; Roi, who seemed snobbish at first but just needed a friend; and Jepoy, their super talkative neighbor who somehow made them all laugh.

Little by little, Leng realized that growing up isn't always pretty-but it's full of moments that stick with you. New friends, small adventures, heartbreak, healing, and songs that say the words you can't.
