A small beachside town in Southern California during the hot summer of 2006
Kai Moreno was a 17 year old boy who was very popular around the small town. He was known for his kindness and golden retriever like energy he brought to any room he was in. He was always happy to help. But what he was most famous for was his surfing. At every small town event he would show off, everyone loved it...except for some people. He is basically easy going and charming until the arrival of a new face turn his summer upside down.
But Elliot Park was a bit of the opposite, 17, and an artsy guy from San Francisco who's been dragged to Seabright by his dad after a messy fall out with his friend group. He keeps to himself, drawing and sticking to his music. One thing Elliot Knew for sure was that he hated the ocean, and had a big fear of water..
As the summer heat intensifies, so does the tension between them-surfing classes, and a butt load of drama can bring people closer than you would think.

A new family moved in across the street from Hannah. The eldest boy is about her age and is no doubt cute. Throughout the summer, she learns more about him and same vise versa. (Use to be called 'How Did My Life Get So Complicated?" but figured it was too long and decided to shorten it and give a different description than it was before). Zeke's life was that of a simple nerd who liked being in the background unnoticed and who just happens to be gay. It really doesn't help when you have two tormentors picking on you every single day with no do anything to stop it. Since it was his senior year all he had to do was hang on for the next ten months. Everything will be alright, right? Sadly it won't because life decided to throw a curve ball at Zeke's head by adding more pain other than what his bullies do to him. He gains a friend, looses said friend, only living relative dies and added to that his first love ends before it even really begins.Complete
My Bully
Elliot never had friends, he's always been bullied and his parents are both drunkards with a bad temper. All his life he's just dealt with the problems and toughed it out. When he moves to a new house and new school nothing really changes. He still gets bullied, he's still an outcast and his family still sucks. He goes on to live as usual. Then a bully who usually ignored him starts to pick on him more than usual and in very uncomfortable ways. Elliot tries to ignore what he does but, it gets harder everyday. Then one day, he does somthing that Elliot can't just say was natual, he can't say he saw it coming. He's scared and doesn't know what to do. What will happen if this keeps up?Complete

I honestly didn't realize how broken I was. I just figured that if I shut all my feelings out that they would go away. They didn't. They came back strong as ever. Reuben was overweight in middle school, but went to a fat camp and boarding school for two years. Reuben was bullied and teased most of his life, because of his weight. He finally made the decision go to a fat camp. When he lost all his weight, he is like a new different person, people treat him differently and he looks differently too. He is little more sociable now since he is more confident. So when he goes to high school he is really scared, because he finds out that Carson, the main guy who used to torment him is Mr. Popular and his in mostly all his classes. Reuben tries to avoid him as much as possible, but it seems Mr.Popular takes a liking to him. So basically, Mr.Popular doesn't think about the kid he used to torment, but Reuben will always remember the guy who made him want kill himself at some point in his life.Complete
