Simulation (Concept)

James, a boy on the autism spectrum, who grows up in a seemingly idyllic "eco-village" that turns out to be a complex simulation designed to "treat" and control him and other young people with mental health issues. As James gets older, he begins to notice subtle inconsistencies in his reality. Together with a group of other young people and a critical intern, Isa, he uncovers the shocking truth behind their existence. The story follows their secret quest for evidence, their confrontation with the staged world and the "clinical actors" who play their parents and caregivers, and ultimately their attempt to reveal the truth and break free from the false reality, with all the complex consequences that follow. It's a tale of awakening, friendship, the search for identity, and the ethical questions surrounding control and manipulation in care.
