Underneath The Bridge

In the heart of Brooklyn's Marlboro Projects, Veronika Smith is an 18-year-old survivor beautiful, sharp-tongued, and tired of scraping by. With a mother drowning in liquor and disappointment, and two younger sisters relying on her more than they should, Veronika has learned to hustle. She steals clothes, dodges cops, and shields her family from the world's cruelty one petty hustle at a time.

Then there's Keyshawn Tate the block's most feared and respected kingpin. Ruthless in business and silent about his past, he runs the Marlboro trap house with an iron fist and cold eyes. Trust is foreign to him. Love? A weakness he can't afford.
