Thorns and Chains

In a realm where warlocks rule with absolute power, magical beings are either enslaved or hunted. Fairies, once symbols of freedom and nature, are now used as mystical handmaids-bound by spells to serve in the warlocks' twisted hierarchy or they were married off. Among them is Liora, a rare daylight fairy whose magic could topple the entire regime if awakened.

Assigned to the household of a powerful warlock, Liora catches the attention of Kael, the warlock's silent and deadly guard-human, but enhanced by blood-magic and loyal to the system that enslaves her kind. But when Kael shows unexpected mercy, a forbidden bond forms between them.

As whispers of rebellion stir in the shadows, Liora and Kael must hide their love from prying eyes. If discovered, Kael would be executed as a traitor, and Liora-torn from him-would face a fate worse than death: being bound to the warlock's will forever.

But love, like magic, has a will of its own.
